The original chapel on this site, fronting St Aubyns Road, was constructed in 1903 of flint with red brick dressings. The rear of the new church is at the left of the photograph.

The present church (below) was built in 1932, adjoining the old chapel (the pinnacle on its gable can be seen in the right background) but fronting Station Road.
