This church is situated next to the largest village pond I've ever seen! It was built in about 1856, in the style of a Norman church, of split flints with rendered dressings. There is a central west tower, the base of which is the porch. There is a west gallery and Royal Arms.

The present building is a rebuild of an earlier church constructed in 1815.
Falmer is part of the united benefice with Stanmer.
