This building is in real trouble. It has been officially declared redundant and it has major structural problems to do with damp penetration and failure of the wall ties which hold the layers of the walls together. A sign outside does however state that the church is still open and services are happening.

Although not my favourite style of architecture, it would be a shame if this landmark was lost. Let's hope the efforts to find a developer who can afford the £3m repairs and an alternative use can be found.

This church is situated in Victoria Drive, almost opposite St Gregory's Catholic Church.
