A modern facade, and an older rear (I know which elevation I prefer!).
This building started life as the Hanover Chapel, built in 1825 as an independent chapel. It was Presbyterian from 1844 until it merged in 1972 with Union Church, Queen Square (also by that time URC). It was rebuilt behind the façade as Brighthelm in 1987 with, to my taste, an unfortunate choice of architectural style.

Here is the original frontage looking into a pleasant garden.

This rather nice sculpture of loaves and fishes in a hand is built into the facade and is by John Skelton.

My thanks to Malcolm J Stacey for additional notes for this page.
