The foundation stone for this large church was laid on 11th May 1887 by the Lord Bishop of Lincoln, and was consecrated by the Bishop of Dover on 18th May 1893.
Situated in Stanley Road, the building is of red brick and stone and was designed by J E R and CP Cutts, architects, of London.
Here are the west and east ends.
This church is now surrounded by buildings and a good view of the structure I found impossible. This is the best I could manage.
